FLORENCE, S.C. — A man shot by a state constable during a traffic stop last month in South Carolina has been charged by police with traffic violations.
Florence Police Lt. Mike Brandt says Brandon Fludd turned himself into authorities Tuesday.

Brandt said in a statement that Fludd is charged with driving on the wrong side of the road, failure to stop for police and malicious injury to property from the March 24 traffic stop.
A constable shot Fludd after he refused to get out of his car during the stop and drove off. The state Attorney General's Office is reviewing the constable's actions.
Fludd's lawyers say at least he acknowledged his role in the shooting, unlike the constable who fired eight shots while two Florence officers with him did not fire their weapons.
