CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The annual Speed Street festival kicked off at noon on Thursday in uptown.
The free festival draws thousands of fans every year ahead of the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It features live music, appearances by some of racing’s biggest stars, a kids’ zone and more.
