MONTGOMERY, Ala. — An Alabama woman and her boyfriend are accused of child abuse after her baby suffered several serious injuries, WFSA reported.
Montgomery police Sgt. David Hicks said that Shaquana Lane and Darris Wallace were arrested Friday and charged with one count each of aggravated child abuse, the television station reported.
Lane's baby was found unresponsive at a Montgomery motel and was taken to a hospital, WFSA reported. According to an arrest affidavit, the baby had a fractured elbow and forearm, and a subdural hematoma covering the brain, the television station reported.
No other information related to the case has been released, WFSA reported.
