CLARK COUNTY, Wash. — Investigators on the Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force found more than narcotics while searching a car.

Investigators had been serving a search warrant on the vehicle and told KATU that in addition to the animal, they found what is believed to be fentanyl, methamphetamine, and Xanax.
Deputies said the dog’s owner surrendered the puppy to animal control.
The owner will be charged with animal cruelty and possession of a controlled substance.
