"I lost the most legendary singer ever and I'm scared to lose Krissy. I want to let all you guys know I did everything possible in the world to protect them," Gordon told Dr. Phil.
Gordon's mother, Michelle, flew to Atlanta to be with him after Bobbi Kristina was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her home in January.
Gordon told Dr. Phil he is suffering severe pain and mental anguish after the death of singer Whitney Houston three years ago.
Bobbi Kristina, daughter of Houston and singer Bobby Brown, remains on life support in an Atlanta hospital.
"Nick, you're out of control. You've threatened suicide. You deserve to get some help because if you don't, you know you're going to wind up dead," Dr. Phil told Gordon.
