KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. — Strong winds peeled back the roof over the pool area of the natatorium Wednesday at Kings Mountain High School as storms rolled through the area, officials said.
No one was on campus at the time and no injuries were reported.
Officials said about one-third of the roof was torn off.
Heavy rain and strong winds pushed through the area prompting several severe thunderstorm warnings.
