CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Extra capacity will be available on the Amtrak Piedmont Trains 73 and 76 for travel between Raleigh and Charlotte on Jan. 17 for the Carolina Panthers playoff game.
The Piedmont Train 73 is scheduled to depart Raleigh at 7 a.m. The train is scheduled to arrive in Charlotte at 10:10 a.m. Charlotte Area Transit System buses are available at the Amtrak station to drop off passengers near the Bank of America Stadium. Fares for bus service apply.
Kick-off time for the football game is 1:05 p.m. For the return trip, Piedmont Train 76 is scheduled to depart Charlotte at 5:15 p.m. The train is scheduled to arrive in Raleigh at 8:36 p.m.
Wi-Fi is available on the Piedmont.
