FORECAST: Storm chances remain low throughout week

MONDAY NIGHT: A few isolated thunderstorms will be possible, producing strong wind, lightning and heavy rain. Not everyone will deal with the rain, as a mostly cloudy sky sticks around. Temperatures will drop into the low 70s to start the day on Tuesday.

TUESDAY - WEDNESDAY: The forecast will be nearly the same for both Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs in the low 90s. Factoring in the humidity, it will feel closer to the mid/upper 90s throughout the day. Afternoon thunderstorms will be possible, but quite spotty.

THURSDAY - FRIDAY: Conditions dry out for the end of the work week, with a mix of sun and clouds expected. The stretch of hot conditions stay with us, with highs in the middle 90s.

WEEKEND PREVIEW: This weekend will be all about the heat, with temperatures flirting with the triple digits. Highs both Saturday and Sunday will hit the upper 90s, with a heat index between 100-110°. Storms stay clear of the area through the start of the next work week.
