FORECAST:

We wrap up the weekend with more high heat and humidity.
High temperatures are expected in the mid 90s with the heat index near 105°.
A Heat Advisory is in place for the Charlotte metroplex and points south through 8 p.m.
Storm chances remain quite low again Sunday afternoon, but anything that fires up could bring in some heavy downpours and intense lightning.
No real change coming in any time soon as the streak of 90s hangs on all week.
Some minor relief should arrive by next weekend.
