Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Services will hold a free public rabies clinic on Thursday, Aug. 27 from 8 - 11 a.m. at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 7424 E W.T. Harris Blvd. in Charlotte.
The service is open to all Charlotte-Mecklenburg pet owners, and owners must bring valid identification.
Social distancing and wearing masks are required when vaccinators are working with you and your pet.
You must handle and hold your own pet or bring someone to help you.
Rabies shots are good for only 1 year.
The line will end at 11 a.m., but anyone in line by 11 a.m. will be served.
