Queen City Unity offers to pick up school supply donations from area homes

If you live within 30 miles of uptown Charlotte, a local organization will pick up 9 School Tools school supply donations at your doorstep.
“Queen City Unity firmly believes that every child needs to be given an equal opportunity to succeed; regardless of their background or socioeconomic status,” Jorge Millares, founder of Queen City Unity, said.
The Queen City Unity donation pickup program for 9 School Tools makes it easier than ever for you to donate school supplies for local students whose families are financially disadvantaged.
WSOC-TV collects school supplies, which are then distributed to students in grades K-12. These items play a big role in preparing students to be successful in the upcoming school year. School supplies raised in local fundraisers stay in the collecting county.WSOCIn partnership with Communities in Schools Charlotte-Mecklenburg and Classroom Central,
