Panthers host tree lighting ceremony Tuesday

The Carolina Panthers got into the holiday spirit Tuesday night for the organization's sixth annual tree lighting ceremony.

The celebration was free to attend and will take place outside of Bank of America Stadium, on the corner of Mint Street and Graham Street.

Festivities began at 6:30 p.m.

Sir Purr, the TopCats Cheerleaders, the PurrCussion Drumline and the Black & Blue Crew were in attendance.

In addition, there were children's activities, festive music and a special visit from Santa Claus.

Channel 9's Allison Latos helped emcee the event.
