Each year, the town of Fort Mill celebrates spring with a sweet celebration -- the South Carolina Strawberry Festival.

Now in its 10th year, the free family-friendly festival will take place Friday and Saturday at 345 North White St. Festival hours are 4:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday.
The event will feature live music, rides and activities for kids, pig races, arts and crafts, local and regional vendors, a car show, eating contests and a fireworks finale on Saturday.
Additional events are held throughout the week, including a golf tournament on Tuesday and a street festival Wednesday night.
