GASTON COUNTY, N.C.,None — North Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating a crash in Gaston County Saturday that sent six people to the hospital.
Troopers said a pickup truck crossed the center line on Crowder's Creek Road and clipped the trailer of another truck coming from the opposite direction.
The pickup then hit another car head-on, investigators said.
Paramedics airlifted four people to local hospitals. Two others were taken by ambulance.
Firefighters said all six patients had serious or life-threatening injuries.
Troopers haven't yet said if there will be any charges stemming from the crash.
