CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — A car caught on fire in the Carowinds parking lot on Wednesday which caused other cars to catch on fire also, according to a Flint Hill Fire Department official.
Chopper 9 flew over the scene where you could see several cars were charred from the fire.
Flint Hill Fire Department Chief David Jennings said that four cars were on fire, three of them were totaled and four others were damaged from the heat.
Firefighter were still on the scene but the park remains open.
Fire officials have not said what caused the fire.
