CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — One of Charlotte Fire Department's trucks got a bit of a makeover this week.
Firefighters sent in a picture of the Pink Lady, which is the truck's official name.
The fire department painted the truck to promote breast cancer awareness.
Many of the firefighters have family members who deal with or have dealt with breast cancer so they wanted to do something to show their support.
The Pink Lady will make its official debut at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Saturday.
