CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Chobani Inc. is voluntarily recalling its Greek yogurt, according to a news release from the company.
The best-by dates are Sept. 11 – Oct. 7 with an IMS number of 16-012. Click here to see a full list of UPC codes. It includes all flavors of Chobani in 3.5-oz., 6-oz., 16-oz. and 32-oz. sizes; Chobani Bite in 3.5 oz.; Chobani Flip in 5.3 oz.; and Chobani Champions cups and tubes.
The company has ceased distribution of the product due to reports of product bloating and swelling and some claims of illness as the company continues its investigation to identify the root cause.
The potentially affected product was distributed nationwide from its Twin Falls, Idaho, facility and was sold through retail and club stores.
Consumers who have purchased the product should discard the product and may contact the company's Customer Loyalty Team at chobani.com/care or call 877-847-6181 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET.
