CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Firefighters battled flames and smoke at a home in west Charlotte overnight.
The fire started just after midnight at a house on Broadview Drive.
Officials told Channel 9 there was extensive smoke damage inside the home.
No one was hurt, but the two people who live at the home will have to stay with family.
The cause remains under investigation.
