STANLEY, N.C.,None — A Gaston County man was arrested early Saturday morning after police said a fight turned into a deadly stabbing overnight.
Gaston County police said 25-year-old Antwan McGill was stabbed in the chest on Farmington Drive in Stanley just after midnight. He later died at the hospital.
Police charged Adrian Epps with first degree murder. According to information from police, since 1993, Epps has faced a number of charges including assault on a female, robbery, and escape from a prison.
Epps is currently being held in the Gaston County jail without bond.
