None — Police recently caught a local registered sex offender in Las Vegas and brought him back to Gaston County after he failed to tell the Sheriff's Office he was moving.
Police said Keith Veal, 43, was convicted of sexual battery in 2008 in Mecklenburg County.
They said he has been in the Gaston County jail three times since then for not updating his current address.

Court records stated that Veal was last known to be living at the Super 8 Motel on Cox Road as of August 2010 around the same time he failed to attend a required sex offender group session.
Police said Veal now faces felony charges, which could land him in prison for a year or more if he's convicted.
Veal was captured in Las Vegas, but does not have pending charges there, according to court records.
