GASTONIA, N.C.,None — A Gastonia man told police he was beat up after he asked a drug dealer to bring him a gram of cocaine and then changed his mind.
Randall Clayton hasn't yet been charged for his honesty.
Around 1 a.m. Thursday, he told police he intended to buy drugs from one dealer, but got drugs from someone else first. He was then attacked by the person he asked first, he said.
Clayton decided not to press charges in the attack.
