None — Classroom Central is holding its first "NON-EVENT" fundraiser; they are inviting participants to NOT COME to yet another gala charity event. Instead, guests are invited to stay home and Party in their PJs to benefit Classroom Central!
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools are in a real budget crunch and students need help now more than ever. Fundraising events can make a lot of money, but they also cost a lot of money. This "non-event" will help Classroom Central make every dollar go further as it equips children with the school supplies they need to be successful in the classroom.
Guests participating (at designated levels) in Party in Your PJs, a non-event, will receive tickets to be entered into a drawing for raffle prize packages (valued at $500 and up, including air travel, electronics, fine dining, family fun and much more); this is a chance to win some great prizes and help others at the same time.
On Saturday, November 13, 2010, join the fun by putting on your favorite PJs, ordering take-out, and tuning in to YouTube at 9:30 p.m. to watch Sir Purr and a Carolina Panther pull the winning raffle tickets!
