PALM BEACH, Fla. — Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan is set to marry Cuban-American model girlfriend Yvette Prieto on April 27 in Palm Beach, Fla., but it's the wedding invitations that are getting all the attention this week.
The Chicago Sun-Times reported that Jordan and Prieto's wedding invitations include instructions to guests telling them to leave cameras and cellphones at home to prevent photos of the happy couple getting leaked to the media.
The invitations to the black-tie event also include instructions telling guests to refrain from releasing any details of the wedding or talking to the press or family and friends.
The Sun-Times reported that Prieto signed a prenuptial agreement that guarantees her $1 million for every year they are married if they ever divorce.
If they make it to 10 years, she will get $5 million for every year they were together if they were to divorce, the newspaper reported.
The Bobcats owner's estimated worth is $650 million, the Sun-Times reported.
Jordan, 50, and Prieto got engaged in December 2011.
It would be the second marriage for Jordan.
He married Juanita Vanoy in September 1989, and they divorced in 2006.
They have two sons, Jeffrey Michael and Marcus James, and a daughter, Jasmine.
Jordan recently purchased a $2.8 million house on Lake Norman. The Jordan Family Gift Trust purchased the 12,310 square-foot home on the seventh hole of the Peninsula Club in Cornelius.
The home has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and garage space for five cars.
