CONCORD, N.C.,None — Police found three teenagers who escaped from a juvenile detention center hiding in a neighborhood near the facility.
Two of the teens were back at the Stonewall Jackson Youth Development Center by noon Sunday. One boy was taken to a doctor and treated for minor scrapes and cuts he received during the escape.
The Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention said the three boys escaped from the center about 7:20 p.m. Saturday.
The center is located at 850 Holshouser Road in Concord, North Carolina.
None of the teenagers appeared to be injured.
Officials did not release the teenagers' full names because they are minors.
