CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Ever dreamed of being an artist and having fun doing it? Well now, according to owner Tara Fitzgerald, you can at Painting with a Twist.
The chain that teaches adults how to paint and have fun has been opened in its southend location for almost two years.
Painting with a Twist puts a unique spin on the average painting class.
"If you like to have fun, you are going to love this. We are a painting party, not an art class," said Fitzgerald. "Adult beverages are encouraged. Wine and beer are welcome, bring your own beer. It is a party and it helps you loosen up a bit. We just have a good time."
Classes range from all different styles, from painting the classics to painting your pet.
"We do everything and have all kinds of stuff here. Things like paint your pet, date night, hosting bridal showers and even speed dating. We have regular classes too, six to 10 times a week," she said.
