Former Butler star quarterback Christian LeMay will forgo his senior year of high school to complete graduation requirements "in a private setting" according to LeMay's father through an inteview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and will not play football during the 2010 season.
LeMay was suspended for 30 days from school for an undisclosed violation of the CMS code of conduct.

After his appeal was denied, LeMay and his family explored the possibility of transferring to a private school, including Byrnes High in South Carolina and Victory Christian in Charlotte, but according to Pastor Stacy LeMay, Christian ultimately decided that he didn't want to play anywhere else than at Butler with his brother Uriah and his other teammates.
According to the AJC, LeMay who has committed to the University of Georgia, will prepare for his college football career with private trainers.
LeMay led Butler to a undefeated record (15-0) last season as a junior and a 4AA state championship at Butler.
He threw for 3,296 yards, 44 touchdowns and just two interceptions which earned him a five-star ranking from Scout.com and the No. 3 quarterback ranking in the nation by Scout and Rivals. The Sporting News ranks LeMay at the No. 1 quarterback nationally.
