CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Uptown Charlotte is buzzing with excitement as fans celebrate the CIAA Basketball Tournament!
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said security has been tight, but reported no major incidents related to the weekend.
There has been violence during the tournament weekend in past years. Two years ago, up to 100 rounds were fired during a reported fight between rappers and last year, police arrested five people after finding 15 guns in cars in the parking deck of the Epicentre.
