1 sent to hospital in north Charlotte shooting, MEDIC says

CHARLOTTE — One person was sent to the hospital after a shooting in north Charlotte, according to MEDIC.

MEDIC responded to the scene at the 3500 block of Statesville Avenue before 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

One person was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, MEDIC said.

No additional details have been made available.
