CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was seriously injured Tuesday night in a stabbing in east Charlotte.
Officials with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said they responded to a robbery call in the 5700 block of Copper Creek Court around 9:53 p.m. and found a person with stab wounds.
The victim was taken to Carolinas Medical Center to be treated for life-threatening injuries, officials said.
A Channel 9 crew witnessed a CMPD helicopter and a K-9 unit at the scene, but no arrests have been made.
Channel 9 is asking officials what led to the stabbing and if anyone else was hurt.
