CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte 10-year-old girl is learning the value of kindness after helping a little boy battling cancer.
Skylar had been saving up money to go to a Justin Bieber concert.
Then she heard a friend of the family was struggling to pay for treatment for their young son with a form of pediatric cancer.
That is when Skylar decided to forfeit her ticket money to help.
"So I got in the mail from Skylar this beautiful letter and then $12. So of course I broke down in tears, what a sweet little kind of gesture," said Karrin Miller.
Eventually the internet radio station, Radio Disney heard of her act of kindness and decided to award her with not only tickets to see Justin Bieber, but also backstage passes.
