CHESTER, S.C. — Police have charged a 15-year-old with attempted murder after a 16-year-old was shot last Wednesday in Chester.
An 18-year-old man was also charged, police said
The shooting happened at the intersection of Floyd and Starnes streets.

Antwoine Simpson, 18, was charged with accessory after the fact of a felony.
The 15-year-old was arrested in Rock Hill by the Violent Gang Unit without incident. He was charged by Chester authorities.
Officials said have not identified a motive in the shooting.

Police said the 16-year-old victim got a ride to the hospital in someone’s car after the shooting and was then airlifted to a hospital in Charlotte.
Police said the victim is expected to survive.
No other details were released.
