42-year-old Charlotte man arrested on child sex abuse charges

COLUMBIA, S.C. — William Brandon Campbell, 42, of Charlotte, was arrested Thursday on eight charges connected to the sexual exploitation of minors, the South Carolina Attorney General announced.

“Campbell produced multiple files of child sexual abuse material, as well as recorded nude minor victims without their knowledge or consent,” according to a news release form the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.

Campbell is charged with four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor in the first degree, which is a felony punishable by up to 20 years imprisonment on each count, and four counts of voyeurism.
