ALBEMARLE, N.C. — Albemarle police released surveillance video images of a robbery at a credit union that happened at about 5:30 p.m. Monday.
Authorities said a man walked into the State Employees Credit Union on North Carolina Highway 24/27 Bypass West and demanded money.
The robber walked up to the teller and said he wanted to withdraw some money and that he had a gun, police said.
The teller placed some cash in an envelope and the robber ran off behind the bank.
He was wearing a camouflage, hooded Under Armour pullover sweatshirt, blue jeans and a dark-colored John Deere ball cap.

Nobody was hurt during the robbery.
