ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C. — New information has been released about a teacher in Alexander County accused of taking nude photos of herself and texting them to a student.
The Alexander County School District said Nikki Icard resigned less than a week after being charged with taking indecent liberties with a student.
Icard was a math teacher at Alexander Central High School and senior adviser to the student she was accused of sending the photos.
She is scheduled to go before a judge on June 3 in Taylorsville.
