Amber Alert canceled for missing Surry County 12-year-old

MOUNT AIRY, N.C. — An Amber Alert for a missing 12-year-old boy from Surry County has been canceled.

Officials identified the child as Anthony Manuel Diaz. He is described as Hispanic, 4 feet 7 inches tall, 78-pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes.

Diaz was last seen wearing blue and gray pajamas with a shark on the shirt.
