In an effort to make your flight more comfortable, America Airlines said it will be canceling flights.
American Airlines confirmed to Channel 9 it took 14 jets out of service and will cancel about 40 flights to remodel some of its 737 planes and give them bigger overhead bins.
The company said the work by the contractor was not up to standards, so it took the planes out of service.
American Airlines makes up 90 percent of flights at Charlotte-Douglas Airport.
It is unknown at this time if any of the cancellations affected flights in Charlotte.
