CHARLOTTE — Charlotte-based Wyndham Capital Mortgage will lay off nearly 50 employees this summer, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification filed this week.
On Aug. 1, Wyndham will lay off 38 people from its office on 4064 Colony Road, some of whom are on a hybrid schedule. It will cut an additional 10 employees working fully remote from outside of the Carolinas.
These aren’t the first mortgage-related layoffs to hit Charlotte this year.
