SHELBY, N.C. — Shelby police made arrests in connection with two armed robberies at the CVS Pharmacy on West Dixon Boulevard, according to a news release from the police department.
Officers arrested Keith Allen Blanton, 52, after an armed robbery at the store Friday afternoon.
Blanton was also charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon for a similar robbery on Feb. 12.
In both robberies, an armed man demanded narcotics from the pharmacy.
Blanton is being held at the Cleveland County Detention Center under a $40,000 bond.
A woman was also arrested in connection with Friday's robbery.
