CHARLOTTE — Atlanta developer Cousins Properties is in the early stages of an office project on a 0.9-acre site adjacent to The RailYard in South End.
John McColl, executive vice president of development at Cousins, said the firm filed for a pre-submittal meeting with the city of Charlotte on Jan. 23 to begin the planning process for its next local office project.
McColl said Cousins is planning a 200,000-square-foot boutique office building at 205 E. Bland St. The building will be about 20 stories and include ground-floor retail facing the Lynx Blue Line and Rail Trail, on-site parking, functional indoor and outdoor space, and rooftop access.
