Atlanta developer to build 300 apartments in Indian Land

INDIAN LAND, S.C. — An Atlanta apartment community developer that’s become active in Charlotte has planned 300 apartments along U.S. Highway 521 in Indian Land.

Pollack Shores Real Estate Group has bought land for an apartment community called The Mason as Six Mile Creek. It will encompass 398,000 square feet, says Palmer McArthur, Pollack Shores’ vice president of development.

“A fast-growing job base, proximity to major employers and strong demand for luxury multifamily housing were all factors for pursuing this opportunity,” McArthur says.

Construction is scheduled to begin later this month, Pollack Shores says.
