UNION COUNTY, N.C. — The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating a serious two-vehicle crash Monday at an intersection in Union County.
Authorities were called around 1:10 p.m. to New Hope Church and New Salem roads in Marshville where two vehicles collided.
Chopper 9 Skyzoom flew over the scene and saw the vehicles off the road; one was flipped on its roof.
At least two individuals may have been pinned in, according to the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
It’s not clear how many people might have been hurt in the crash or how badly they may have been hurt.
Channel 9 has reached out to the Highway Patrol to find out what led up to the crash.
