WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Vice President Joe Biden visited North Carolina on Wednesday, promoting the president and his economic message.
His visit came just 24 hours after Congressman Paul Ryan visited Raleigh pushing Mitt Romney’s agenda.
The frequent visits are just one of the signs that North Carolina is considered a battleground state by both parties.
Biden said Wednesday President Barack Obama’s work on the economy is not finished.
“We have to do more. We have to keep fighting through this period of transition and this God-awful recession we inherited,” he told a crowd.
Outside the event, conservative protesters and Romney campaign aides responded to his speech, saying they were tired of broken promises.
