North Charlotte Bojangles reopens after weekend robbery

CHARLOTTE — According to a Bojangles official, there was a robbery Sunday morning at the restaurant on West Sugar Creek Road. No customers or employees were injured during the robbery.

The store has since reopened and Bojangles is working with local police on the matter.

Bojangles released the following statement Sunday: 

"We are aware of the robbery that occurred at the Bojangles' located on West Sugar Creek Rd. in Charlotte, N.C., this morning. We can confirm that everyone present was unharmed, the store has reopened and we are working with local authorities to investigate further. The safety and well-being of our guests and team members is always our highest priority and we encourage anyone who might have information to contact Crime Stoppers."
