CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — Cabarrus County Schools said it’s flying blind amid the state budget stalemate.
The chief financial officer warned commissioners the district is facing uncertainty, including planning salary costs and is being forced to estimate.
The Charlotte Observer reported teachers and staff haven’t seen a pay raise since July 2024.
There likely won’t be a budget deal until next year.
