Carvana in hot water with North Carolina officials

CHARLOTTE — Carvana is temporarily barred from selling vehicles from its Raleigh-area location after state authorities determined it violated dealer licensing laws, The Wall Street Journal reports.

The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles revoked that location’s dealer license until Jan. 29 after finding it failed to deliver titles to the DMV and that it sold cars without state inspections.
