CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Some of the nation’s best places for business are in the Carolinas.
Forbes Magazine based its rankings on the job rate, costs of doing business, quality of life and education levels.
Raleigh was ranked No. 1 last year, but dropped to second behind Pravo, Utah.
Durham ranked 14th. Asheville was ranked 17th, and Charlotte was ranked 18th.
