Charlotte church to hold COVID-19 vaccine clinic Friday

CHARLOTTE — A Charlotte church that was offering more than 500 appointments for COVID-19 vaccines on Friday said that all spots have been filled.

St. Mark’s United Methodist Church on Clanton Road is partnering with NCDHHS and Vax Van to vaccinate hundreds of members of the community on April 2. Pfizer doses will be administered to those were able to schedule an appointment.

The clinic runs from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

There is no cost to receive the vaccine and second dose appointments will be coordinated on site. Second doses will be administered at St. Mark’s.
