CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte City Council will decide on Tuesday night what happens next after Mayor Vi Lyles steps down.
City leaders will discuss the process and schedule to fill the mayoral vacancy.
Lyles plans to resign on June 30. She must be replaced by a Democrat.
