CHARLOTTE — On Monday, the Charlotte City Council will be discussing how it will appoint members to the new Transit Authority.
More than 100 people have applied to serve on the Metropolitan Public Transportation Authority.
It will be formed if the sales tax increases for transit next month.
The city gets to appoint 12 people to the 27-member board.
