Charlotte fried chicken shop offering a year of free sandwiches to first guests

CHARLOTTE — If you want your lunch plans taken care of for the next year, make some plans for this Thursday in Charlotte’s South End.

Bossy Beulah’s Chicken Shack is opening its second location at 11 a.m. Thursday. But if you’re one of the first 50 people in the restaurant on opening day, you’ll get a prize of “free chicken sandwiches for one year.”

Bossy Beulah’s main feature is (obviously) the chicken, and the restaurant also has fries, Copain Bakery hand pies, and soft-serve ice cream. But the South End location is also making plans to add breakfast offerings.

The restaurant is at 2932 Griffith Street and has seating for just about 150 guests, but the restaurant says there are only six dedicated parking spots, so plan accordingly.

This is Bossy Beulah’s second location in Charlotte, with another shop in Winston-Salem. The company is also building new locations in Fort Mill and Concord, as well.
